There are several different ways that our psychic potential can show up. Even so, when it is all said and done the psychic powers are all derived from the very same energy. This energy is very versatile and it is called by many different names. The same ability is behind it no matter what it is called. The circumstances that surround it make it all seem to be different. Precognition is an elusive psychic ability to say the least.

When someone sees things that will happen in the future it is the precognition that is to blame. It is kind of like remembering the future. Many of the other psychic perceptions are a lot alike in that they are more likely experienced while the person is sleeping then when they are awake. People have an easier time letting go of the blocks that the consciousness puts in place to block the inner powers when they are asleep.

Our conscious mind can significantly interfere in our ability to engage our psychic powers while awake, but while we’re asleep, it’s less capable of doing that, allowing our creative sides to more effectively process thoughts that the rational mind would block out. Precognition and many other psychic experiences happen more often while we’re asleep because we’re simply more open to them in this state than we are while awake.

But why would we be able to experience a precognition at all? There are several things that may point to an answer. The existence or nonexistence of linear time is one solution. People believe that time is not linear and that our senses are simply eluding us to believe that time is linear. They believe that we are able to tap into our unconscious understanding of the nonlinear times.

Another of the theories is that time is actually cyclical, and that there are slight differences between each of the cycles. We are able to remember pieces of the former cycle and what occurred in it. This is what we are seeing as the future, actual memories from the last cycle. With this in mind, it is possible that precognition is actually remembering things that have happened in the future.

The belief in an energy web that runs through all time and space is another explanation. Because we are all part of the same web we are able to get glimpses of things that are on other sections of the web. This includes other time periods.

It does not matter what reason there is for the precognition because there have been many people that have been able to foresee the things that will eventually come true in their own lives. It does not always mean that the prediction is actually important. It is just as likely to be a prediction about things that are small, like getting the wrong order at a restaurant, as it is to see the more important things like a relationship that will go bad or the promotion that is waiting to happen. With this said, it is not uncommon for an event to be described right down to the littlest detail.

Bringing the precognition to the conscious state is one that is much more difficult than having a simple precognitive experience. Sometimes it takes a lot of practice and studying to be effective at it. It is good to put your concentration on a certain goal or target because it forces the mind to focus and it will require a lot less wasted energy to reach the final goal.

Many people experience a precognition early in their lives but they choose not to believe it. Ignoring it can make the precognitive abilities much less effective because it will not be used frequently. They are not able to reach the levels that they could but do sometimes have a dream of things that are in the future. They see things in their sleep and at other times but simply refuse to believe it.

It does not have to be like this at all. If someone was to spend some time studying they may be able to develop the skill of having a conscious precognition. It is typically necessary to enter a state that is very relaxed, like when you are meditation. Some people need to have a basic understanding of what they are looking for prior to beginning their search.

The more information known in these cases, the harder it is to find out details, since there’s a lot of interference from the conscious, logical mind. However, with the right kind of practice, conscious precognition can happen.

It’s a well known fact that humans only use around 10% of their brains. The function of other 90% remains a mystery to most people.

*Transmitting – Relax and shut your eyes. Imagine a line of communication flowing to and from your receiver, perhaps an imaginary line between the two of you. Get as clear of a picture as you can of this line of thought flowing back and forth.

Visually place the object you want to send on or in the line you have visualized and then send it. Follow it all the way to your receiver and picture it clearly as you watch it going to its destination.

The act of visualization is a powerful tool in allowing your mind to focus on getting your message across.

*Stop Sending – As soon as you are confident your message has been received, stop sending, hang up, clear your mind of it. This is very important because your sender will then realize the transmission did come in.This also allows the receiver an opportunity to record the image he or she received.

*Receive – The receiver needs to approach this with an open mind and want to receive messages. It all needs to be written down as a record to refer to later. It is important to relax and let the message flow in.

Looking at your vision board daily lets you focus your thoughts on your goals and this in turn sends out energy into the universe that adds up daily. Sending out clear energy waves will ensure that your desires become a reality.

It is a necessary truth that you believe strongly in your ability to make your dreams a reality, that you believe strongly in yourself as a person. Being strong-willed is a must, and that you also hold strong to the belief that you have the ability to actually transform yourself as a person. This new you will also believe that wonderful things can happen to you.

It is an essential requirement that one who believes in manifesting desires also knows how to manifest the segment intending. This particular concept works in that it permits one to see the future, a future that one strongly desires. Segment intending essentially works in that you segment your day from one situation to another. By this I mean that you segment each situation of your day. An example is that going for lunch with your wife is one segment, while returning back to work would be another segment.

Think about what you would like from each segment. In the first you may want a trip that is traffic free so you should envisage this, in your mind see the road ahead with no traffic and by doing so you manifest your desire. In the second segment you may want a drama free homework session and a relaxing dinner with your children, you once again need to envisage this in your mind and send these thoughts out to the universe and allow the laws of attraction to work.

These are just a few techniques to empower you when manifesting desires. You need to be clear on what it is you want and you need to believe that it is possible, you should visualize your goals and segment your days. Always remember, thoughts are a form of energy that can be directed in a way to have an influence on external surroundings.

These are easy ways to manifesting desires. Understand your desires, hold strong to your beliefs that it is possible, learn to actually see it, then segment each day. Your dreams are possible, are in actuality energy that can be turned into reality.

Good communication is probably the cornerstone of every kind of human relationship and it can be a very powerful tool sometimes. A great example for this is with conversational hypnosis. Although the question may not be logical but it is effective in distracting the patient.

Finally, once the patient is thinking about something else other than his problem, the hypnotist can now start working towards providing the solution of the primary problem.

Because the patient has finally relinquished control over his problem by not thinking about it, the hypnotist could probably say things like “life is so much different if you talked to people” and the like.

Give an introduction (let your audience know what you will be talking about) followed by supporting ideas (factual information) and finally, end with a conclusion (summarize your call to action with a logical end).
